Is "postgresql-server-9.6" retained at all ? I'd guess so ?
If that's the case, shouldn't postgresql-9.6-postgis-2.3
also be retained ?

PS: it sounded like Paolo was after postgis-2.1 so his installation
must have followed a different (manual?) path...
