[postgis-devel] PSC Vote PostGIS 3.0 Alpha1 this Monday

Everyone okay if I do a release of a PostGIS 3.0 alpha1

 

I think we've got enough there it would be good to encourage testing, though
we are not quite ready for a feature freeze.

 

If everyone is okay with it, I'd like to push out a PostGIS 3.0 alpha1 this
weekend or early Monday with the hope that especially PostgreSQL 12 users
can start testing it as we do have a couple of things in there specifically
geared for 12 users.

Devs and packagers are welcome to voice an opinion and it will influence our
decision as always.
