[postgis-devel] PostGIS benchmark

Fwiw I have been doing some testing to allow benchmark testing on a berrie
type machine. The goal is to set up an environment to implement

https://git.osgeo.org/gitea/postgis/postgis-performance

I have installed stow

https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-use-gnu-stow-to-manage-programs-installed-from-source-and-dotfiles

so I can have various versions of proj, geos, and gdal precompiled and
ready to go for compiling PostGIS against any combination needed.

PostGIS doesn't play well with stow due to

https://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/ticket/635

but compiling is not too slow. It might be nice to do some benchmark
testing especially with all the discussion about the new index methods
available.

Let me know if this helps
