PostGIS raster easy import

Hi all,

as you know, GIU import of vectors into PostGIS is easy in QGIS.

For raster we still miss an equivalent solution. The only current plugin

https://github.com/hdus/pg_raster_upload

is quite limited and probably buggy.

Is anyone interested in improving the situation? I'd be interested in 
helping, currently I have limited resources to take the full task on my 
shoulders.
