That's not going to happen anytime soon because the internal postgis_sfcgal
and postgis_topology plumbing relies on the same core structures.

And yes I know strk you'd love to bring up about how if we laundered
liblwgeom around this issue would be solved.  I still think that brings up a
can of worms we are not prepared to deal with.

To strk's point yah we could conceivably do that but it's not a pressing
concern at the moment.  Patch welcome of course.
