 Thanks darkblueb.  Unfortunately its hard to give a stack trace for this
 one because it only happens on windows 2008/windows 7-64bit for a
 particular version of PostgreSQL (as I recall like 9.2.something) or was
 it 9.1.something under EDB run (not my mingw64 where I normally do stack
 traces) which gives me pretty useless information.  It doesn't happen for
 windows 2003 64-bit for example.  Anyway I'm also checking to see if its
 an issue on 9.3beta1.
