 Altering test for #2084 and reversing the within/coveredby functions would
 be interesting, since if they failed the same way (t/f) then it would
 indicate a problem in the cache logic, which is being uncovered on those
 chipsets (how?). Not sure how to debug without having access to an
 appropriate platform.
