 I'd suggest to use a separate ticket for each issue as each one can have a
 discussion on its own.
 For example, for 07, I don't see LINUX macro being used anywhere, so why
 defining it ?
 Or for 01-fix-spelling: the ChangeLog is generated.
 I'm happy you're dynamically linking liblwgeom in debian, but I suspect
 there would be a discussion before accepting that to be a default for
 builds.
