Comment:

 The ticket to implement PG12 support for upgrade of aggregates is #4352
 (not done yet, and not planning to in the short term).

 I think komzpa was going to try (or already implemented?) a catalogue
 updating code for #4386 -
 I suggest looking at that, and if possible make the solution more general
 (for example including that approach in postgis_upgrade.pl script
 directly, maybe as part of the broather aggregate handling change to be
 done as part of #4352)
