 In order to have a clearer picture of what's going wrong, I'v efixed #3233
 (ValidateTopology check on node's containing_face) - This only affects
 topologies with isolated nodes, so not necessarely something you can test,
 but you could maybe run some performance comparison as I bet
 ValidateTopology will now be much slower.
