 This is a little odd.  Started seeing this error on debbie despite no real
 changes since yesterday in this area. Looks like a GEOS 3.16 issue

 I know folder says 3.15, but that's cause I forgot to flip geos master to
 write into folder geos 3.16, going to fix that now, and then keep master
 testing again 3.16, but change the 3.7.0 to use the real geos 3.15
