[postgis] anyone tried packaging for debian?

Hi all,

Just wondering - has anyone thought about, or even better tried, 
producing a postgis package for debian?  I had a quick look at what 
might might be involved last night, unfortunately it looks like it might 
not be a trivial task to do it properly....
