[postgis] Feedback On Installation

So, from our logs, we have had 35 downloads of the source package, but
no complaints on the list! So we must be perfect!

Actually, I am very interested in the experiences of other people
installing PostGIS. I have done installations on our office Solaris 2.6
machine, and on a clients Solaris machine. Has anyone done installations
on other architectures and OSes? Is everything working? How about stress
tests? I've built an index on a 170000 row geographic table, and Dave is
going to do a 1Million row table within the next week (right Dave?).
Does anyone have some real-world feedback?
