[postgis-users] doubts about raster images and visual interfaces

Helo,

My name is Rosangela and I am a researcher in a Brazilian 
organization working with GIS.

I would like to know if anybody know if PosGIS supports
raster formats and how to manipulated it?? 

And about visual interfaces for PostgreSQL/PostGIS ??
Does exist some one ??  Is possible to customize it??
