Probaly can work with WINE ... but ... this is'nt a good solution


There are a lot of another FREE* solutions:
- GRASS (you can do ALL! Editing a postgis layer)
- QGIS (the next version - available on CVS - can edit vector layers)
- Thuban (there is a plugin for the editing)
- OpenEV (you can direct edit shape file)
- GISToolkit (with a simple change on the source code for the
GISEditor sample application you can edit and create ESRI shape file
or postgis layers)
- ... look to http://freegis.org
