Hi!
I'm installing postGIS in Windows 2000 and i have a problem.
I have followed two documents (i have already installed CygWin, GEOS
and PostgreSQL):

1) It says that i have to type:

"LDFLAGS=-lstdc++ ./configure --enable-multibyte --with-CXX
--prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --docdir=/usr/doc/postgresql-$version"
but it returns:
"bash: ./configure: No such file or directory"
I have tried to type this command in the directory
/usr/share/postgresql , /usr/share/postgresql/contrib and
/usr/share/postgresql/contrib/postgis-0.8.1 but the same error appears.
I have searched in all directories but i can't find any file "configure".

2) I have to execute "make" (in the directory
/usr/share/postresql/contrib/postgis-0.8.1) but it returns:

Makefile:38: ../../src/Makefile.global: No such file or directory
Makefile:145: /src/Makefile.shlib: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/src/Makefile.shlib'. Stop.

Any idea? What documentation must i follow?
Thanks in advance!
Natalia
