At the moment I'm testing database models for service pipes with it.
Before, I used it to store, manage and display environment protecting
areas (see www.webkoman.de) with PHP/MapScript.
> Why did you choose PostGIS?
- had the functions I needed
- testing => few money available
- good support
> What makes you happy about your PostGIS installation?
- always works on Linux AND Windows
- many functions, still finding new ones
> What makes you unhappy about your PostGIS installation?
- sometimes you're not allowed to install it where you would like to.
