Trying to use a combination of Mapserver-PostGIS to present the current and
modelled future climate distributions of 135 tree species in the eastern
United States.

>     Why did you choose PostGIS?

Good integration with MapServer.

>     What makes you happy about your PostGIS installation?

That there are good souls at DCMMS who have made a PostGIS Win2k executable


>     What makes you unhappy about your PostGIS installation?

I don't know about Unix/Linux (as I have cygwin on Win2k) - but without the
DCMMS win2k executable I'd have called it quits. Please make a
cygwin/windows executable available that installs without hassles.
