Hi Michael,

This has come up just recently in the PostgreSQL mailing lists, although I
am not sure what the final solution was. Follow the thread here
http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-hackers/2004-08/msg00249.php for more
details. Note that the solution (if any) will only be present in the lastest
PostgreSQL (v8.0).
