[postgis-users] Anything similiar to PostGIS for SQL Server?

Heh...like I'm going to  wait around for "developers and spatial application vendors to build spatial solutions" and then have to pay money for it.
 
What a cop out the UDT concept is. 
 
Anyhow I see it as a good thing because by the time any real spatial capability will be available from proprietary sources everything else under the sun is going to be full OGC compliant.

		I heard that the new MSSQL ( Yukon ) will have spatial capabilities. but I don't know if this one will be OGC compliant, just like PostGIS is.
