[postgis-users] Status of PostGIS 1.0 release

Hi,

Seeing that we're at RC6 (btw kudos for persistence!), is there an
expected release date for 1.0  proper?

We're using RC2 and have decided to wait until 1.0 proper is released.

In particular, I am wondering if/how the following issues are dealt
with:

These were initially put as MapServer bugs as placeholders (I can't
recall if they are PostGIS or MapServer issues, but at least they are
not forgotten!).
