[postgis-users] postgis 0.9.2 + postgresql 8.1.0 crash

hi strk,

i'm fighting hard to add postgis-0.9 support in debian, arguing
upgrading is more than dump-restore.

as debian is a too prudent distribution, gdal distributed in
debian/testing does, in fact, support only postgis-0.9 (as far as i tested).

btw, what about keeping the way to store geometry as a parameter, with
functions transparently translating from/to main wkb?
this will work for all postgis since 0.x.
