[postgis-users] New pgjdbc extension

Hi,

For all java postgis users out there: The PostGIS CVS contains a new
jdbc2 subdirectory that provides a heavily reworked jdbc driver extension.

It _should_ be source code and binary compatible with the old code. It
is slightly tested, but I hope to get more test coverage from you. :-)

The main advantage is that the old code will not work with PostGIS 1.0
as it does not understand the new canonical representation.

Please feel free to send bug reports, regressions and other issues to
postgis-devel list so we can discuss it there.

Thanks,
Markus Schaber
