[postgis-users] Projection problems -- .prj files, srid=-1, ogr? proj? etc

Hi all,

I have downloaded a bunch of shapefiles of Oregon from [1] and
succesfully imported them into a postgis database;  they seem to
overlay fine in uDig.  However they all have srid's of -1 in
geometry_column, and I am not sure how determine their srids from
their prj files in order to fix this.  See [2] for a cut and paste of
each shapefile - prj data.  Currently they won't overlay onto the jpl
elevation raster from uDig.

I tried SELECTing for likely spatial_ref_sys rows, but it is not as
obvious as "Massachusetts"...

Any help would be appreciated.  I have ogr2ogr and proj available, but
I am not sure how I might use them.
