[postgis-users] issue with pgsql2shp

Strk,
  I'm using the SnapToGrid on a polygon feature and it is returning
multipolygon and geometrycollections which pgsql2shp doesn't seem to like.

Here is my query:

select geometrytype(snaptogrid(segmentize(transform(the_geom, 26916), 10),
250)) as the_geom from tgr_water_polygons

Is there a way to keep snaptogrid from returning geometrycollections?
