[postgis-users] Data

Hello People,

I am using a Desktop GIS but it only loads wms and PostGIS connections.

Could someone tell me how to retrieve data from a postGIs layer ?

I know there are many wms on the web, but I can't get the layer, instead 
of it I only load an image (a view) of some database.

If someone could make it to me I would be glad.
