Hi, thanks for your fast reply.
But you'll guess I'm a stupid moron, since I find the answer just
after sending the mail.
Here is what I understand, please correct me if anything is wrong.
At install time, postgres created a database named 'postgres' (since I
asked him to do so).
And I was doing all my tests in that database, which must be, from my
feeling, its internal database, ie NOT TO USE.
So anything I tried failed miserabily.
Just after sending that stupid mail, I created another database, named
postgis, and tried again the example, which worked great through
pgAdmin.
So, am I right in any way, or is it just solar windthat makes it work ?
