[postgis-users] Anti-meridian and polar polygon question, 2006

Hi everyone!

I found this 2 year old thread about handling polar coordinates with
PostGIS: http://postgis.refractions.net/pipermail/postgis-users/2004-October/006006.html


Does anyone know if support for pole encompassing polygons been improved
since then? What about geocentric coordinate systems (e.g. EPSG 4978)?
