Thanks for the suggestion Per-Olof. This is fine if I want to export things but I was thinking more along the lines of a solution that allows you to view your data within MapInfo straight from the postigs database instead of having to convert the data into tab and then view it.

Maybe exporting as shp using psql2shp and then using ogr2ogr to convert
into .TAB?
