OK, it is a slight exaggeration, but unless you really know what you are 
doing you just should stay away from it. I think the real issue is taht 
while NFS works great for common file sharing and stuff and you really 
don't have to know much about it that is just not the case if you are 
trying to setup a database over it.

I think it is a case of "Buyer be ware!" or you might loose your data.
