[postgis-users] if i use postgis, is it true that i'll then have to worry about supporting only 1 database??

thanks paul, chris and dane. we want to do web mapping but someone
important has come along, so i am just looking for some bullet points
from a system/support point. i'll just tell my worried system staff
it's easy to support- if it crashes/corrupts, they'd just have to
worry about backing and restoring 1 db.
