Hi Nick,

Please feel free to submit a documentation patch or appropriate wording 
to the list if you think that this will help new users.

Note that the latest SVN trunk is using a completely new build system 
which can correctly detect the installed PROJ.4 version; I've just added 
a check to ensure that older PROJ.4 versions will display an error 
during the configure phase if this happens again.
