Debian etch, AMD64 dual core
gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)
postgresql 8.1.15
postgis 1.3.4rc3
geos 2.2.3, 3.0.3 & 3.1 all make and install fine. Tested all with
importing a shp file using shp2psql no probs.

If it makes any difference I can try again with a 32bit linux (either
etch or ubuntu 7.10) but it will have to wait a day or two if so.
