Can you say what the time line is for releasing 1.4? Will it be this week,
etc?

Mark,

We'll be releasing 1.4 shortly and probably the week after will appear in
stack builder (probably binaries for Windows even sooner than that) so you
shall see it appear in stack builder for both 8.3 and 8.4.

In the meantime if you want to experiment, we do have Windows binaries
available for PostgreSQL 8.4 (1.4rc2)

Hope that helps,
Regina

I downloaded and installed PostgreSQL 8.4 for Windows which includes the
2.1.0 version of the Stack Builder. I don't see PostGIS in the list of
applications available to install via StackBuilder. How do you install
PostGIS with PostgreSQL 8.4 on Windows? Thanks.
