Yeah, PostGIS 1.4 will use the same compiler settings as PostgreSQL
since they are inherited from PGXS. Note that liblwgeom is a separate
entity, and so currently picks up the defaults from autotools which
appears to be GCC. Note you can override this by setting the CC variable
directory on the "gmake" command line if required.
Incidentally, I don't see any errors in your output, so it's a bit
difficult to understand what the problem is...
