[postgis-users] Version 9, x86- 64

On ubuntu, some issues as postgres 9 required postgis 1.5.2, which when I installed it had to be built from source as a package was not available. 

I followed (& corrected) these instructions

Install was the only issue, no problems to date using it. Without knowing your target platform, I don't know what install problems you may have.
