[postgis-users] Strange behaviour using shapefile to postgis gui in PGAdmin

[Intengu Technologies]

Entering database credentials on the gui and clicking test connection
results in an error - Connection failed: FATAL:  password
authentication failed for user "postgres"

The database credentials entered are correct.

Not withstanding this error I am able to import a shapefile into my
postgis database.
