[postgis-users] Questions about using SRID not -1

Thanks Oliver but I already tried that with the sentence:

SELECT UpdateGeometrySRID('mypoints', 'srid', 4326);
(following instructioms: *UpdateGeometrySRID*(varchar table_name, varchar
column_name, integer srid);)
I got the following message

ERROR: column not found in geometry_columns table
SQL state: P0001
Context: SQL statement "SELECT UpdateGeometrySRID('','', $1 , $2 , $3 )"
PL/pgSQL function "updategeometrysrid" line 4 at SQL statement

I don't know what's happpening....
