Hello,

You don't have direct installation in Linux for Postgis 1.5 (except if
someone have done a backport I don't know)
You will have to compile
http://georezo.net/wiki/main:logiciels:postgis:start for install
instructions on Linux 10.04 (in french, but for commands no difference)
