[postgis-users] CENTos Install Issues

I am installing on CENTos and received the following errors.  Any ideas would be appreciated:

$./configure

ERROR:
./configure: line 2108: config.log: Permission denied
./configure: line 2118: config.log: Permission denied

$Make
ERROR:
Liblwgeom.h:18:31: error ../postgis_config.h: No such file or director
