[postgis-users] Maximum allowed size of a geometry object in postgis

I am implementing SDD-1 algortihm for distributed spatial databases. In that,
i need to know the size of all the geometry objects present in the rows of a
table. But however as we cannot say the size of a geometry precisely as the
size varies from one value to another, is there any way to know the maximum
allowed size of a geometry object as a row value in postgis ??
