[postgis-users] How obtain information about Geometry type of a PGShapeGeometry

Hi to all,
I've a PGShapeGeometry object witch is created by the constructor PGShapeGeometry(String text).Well.. if I want to know the type of Geometry specified into the text (e.g. POLYGON(..)), what kind of method I should use?
