Oops ... :-( you are right. I looked at an old version (1.4) of the
documentation. In 1.5 documentation everything seems to be ok. Please
excuse the noise I produced on the list!

I read (in SVN log):
-- these were superceded by PostGIS_AddBBOX , PostGIS_DropBBOX,
PostGIS_HasBBOX in 1.5 --

If you still see the old names in documentation please file a bug
about that.
