[postgis-users] Getting "function postgis_version() does not exist" after PHP upgrade

Hi there,

we've upgraded our server from PHP 5.3.12 to 5.3.27… So, no big deal. But I am not an admin-person, so don't understand what else is needed.

But suddenly, I have problems with my PostGIS installation. When I try to pgsql2shp, it says:

	ERROR: function postgis_version() does not exist

The function still exists in the database.

Can this be related to the PHP upgrade? Or is that something else?

When I launch the "SELECT version() || ' ' || postgis_full_version();" I get this

	PostgreSQL 9.1.3 on x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc (Debian 4.4.5-8) 4.4.5, 64-bit POSTGIS="2.0.0 r9605" GEOS="3.3.3-CAPI-1.7.4" PROJ="Rel. 4.8.0, 6 March 2012" GDAL="GDAL 1.9.1, released 2012/05/15" LIBXML="2.7.8" RASTER

Thanks for any hints,

Stefan
