[postgis-users] filesystem raster overviews

Hi,

Is there any guidance / experience on using overviews in filesystem rasters?
Does the internal tiling of a GeoTIFF get recognised by PostGIS or do
specific overview layers need to be explicitly defined on loading the image
to the table. Finally, does the overview image need to be stored internally
or will postgis understand that it is within the source image?
