Let's say you have built a business around selling a software product.
If your product is built on a library that has a permissive license and 
the library suddenly becomes GPL (restrictive) then you can no longer 
sell your product.

If you have a traditional software business model, this is not a 
"feature", it's a "bug". ;-)
