[postgis-users] Linear referencing lines?

Hello All,

I have two separate tables that have line geometries. The first is road
network on which streets are cut to sections by crossroads. One street can
have one or many sections. The other has condition values (roughness,
rut,..) that goes over crossroads.

Is there simple way to create new geometries that are based on road
network, but cut by values. On link below you can see image of what I'm
trying to do.
