Hello,

Why don't you simply use pg_dump with a format suitable for pg_restore ? You will not have to face the constraints of shapefile on columns names.

Hello All,

I want to copy a postgis table from one database to another.  Is dumping to a shapefile the best way to do this? Any other method? Pros and cons?
