[postgis-users] "On the fly" CRS transformation (OTF) enabled when changing layer visibility

Whenever I change the visibility of a layer in the map legend
(show or hide layer), "On the fly" CRS transformation (OTF)
gets enabled.  This is kind of irritating.

I have a few layers in the map legend, and they have different
CRSs.

Same behaviour for QGIS 2.8.9 and 2.14.2 on Ubuntu 14.04.

Is this a bug?
