Subject: [ANNOUNCE] PGConf US 2017 - Early Bird Tickets & PostgreSQL Conference Talk Schedule
Hello PostgreSQL Fans,
We are happy to announce that PGConf US 2017, the largest PostgreSQL conference in North America, is now open for registration! Early Bird tickets are on sale at http://www.pgconf.us.
This year we have crossed the Hudson and PGConf US 2017 is taking place in Jersey City, New Jersey from March 28th to March 31st at The Westin Jersey City Newport. On March 28th we are pleased to offer six training sessions as well as the Third Annual Regulated Industry Summit. We also listened to our past attendees and included more PostgreSQL sessions by adding an additional day to our already packed schedule. We now have three days for great talks from March 29 - 31.
Some, but not all, highlights:
* PostgreSQL deployments and strategies at enterprises such as TomTom, Simple, Moat, GoCardless, the European Space Agency, and more!
* Want to see what the future of PostgreSQL holds? Come learn how PostgreSQL is developed and how it operates from Major Contributors and PostgreSQL hackers in our internals track.
* Prefer Python and Java to SQL? Not a problem: our developer track has you covered so you can learn to take advantage of PostgreSQL’s robustness.
* Interested in seeing what the industry has to offer? For the first time we are offering a professional job fair to benefit our sponsors and attendees alike.
Want to attend? Full registration is open! Please visit http://www.pgconf.us for registration information, our schedule, and venue information.
For those planning to attend, don’t forget to book your room early for the best rates. The Westin Jersey City Newport is the best place to stay and enjoy all conference activities. Attendees will surely mingle at the Westin bar and hallways throughout the afternoon and long into the evening. We have reserved a block of rooms at the special conference rate of $236/night plus applicable taxes for attendees who make their reservations via the Westin website. These special rates will be available until March 6th or until the group block is sold out. This hotel block WILL fill up quickly so get your reservation in ASAP!
Sponsorship opportunities for the conference are still available. If your business is selling to people who use PostgreSQL or if you are looking to recruit a PostgreSQL expert at our job fair, this is the place to be. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this dynamic and growing ecosystem.
PGConf US 2017 is hosted by the United States PostgreSQL Association, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) created to support PostgreSQL in the United States through user group development, conferences, educational initiatives, and fun. There is no way we would be able to produce PGConf US 2017 without the generous support of our sponsors:
* Diamond: Amazon Web Services
* Platinum: 2ndQuadrant, OpenSCG, EnterpriseDB
* Gold: Heroku
For more information, please visit http://www.pgconf.us/
We look forward to seeing you in March!
Sincerely,
Amanda Nystrom
and the PGConfUS Organization Team
